Women In Government’s Board of Directors is composed of 14 sitting women state legislators who provide fiscal oversight, make strategic decisions and guide activities for the organization. The Board is geographically diverse and is made up of even numbers of Democrats and Republicans, reflecting Women In Government’s non-partisan nature.

She currently serves as the Senate President Pro Tempore and is Vice Chair on the Health & Human Services Committee. She also serves as a member on the following committees: Capitol Building Advisory, Legislative Audit and Education. Her legislative priorities are centered on youth, mental health, and healthcare.
